4. N/D Solenoid Valve Line Open Circuit Inspection
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the TCM 33P (Black) connector.
Check for continuity between the wire harness
side N/D solenoid valve 2P (Black) connector ter
minals and TCM connector terminals.
Connection: A2 (W hite/black) - W hite/black
Connection: A24 (Brown) - Brown
TOOL:
Test probe

Is th e re c o n tin u ity ?
YES
- GO TO STEP 5.
NO
- • Open circuit in White/black wire.
• Open circuit in Brown wire.

YES
- • Short circuit in White/black wire.
• Short circuit in Brown wire.
NO
- Replace the TCM w ith a new one, and
recheck (HFT initialization procedure:
page 11-93).

• Before starting inspection. Check fo r loose or
poor connectors on the lock up solenoid valve
(Gray) connector and TCM 33P (Black) connector,
then check the DTC.
1. Lock Up Solenoid Valve Inspection
Remove the lock up solenoid valve (page 11-109).
Measure the resistance at the lock up solenoid
valve 2P connector terminals.
Is th e resistance w ith in 14 - 17 Q (20 C /68 F)?
YES
- GO TO STEP 2.
NO
- Faulty lock up solenoid valve.
