Remove the fo llo w in g .
- Right fro n t side cow l (page 3-5)
- Left under cow l (page 3-11)
Remove the radiator cap.
_______________________ COOLING SYSTEM
Drain the coolant fro m the system by rem oving the
drain b o lt and sealing washer.
Reinstall the drain b o lt w ith a new sealing washer
and tig h te n it.
Disconnect the siphon hose and hoses fro m the
reserve tank and drain the coolant.
E m pty the coolant and rinse the inside o f the
reserve tank w ith water.
Connect the siphon hose to the reserve tank.
Fill the system w ith the recom m ended coolant
th ro u g h the fille r opening up to the fille r neck.
Bleed air fro m the system as follow s:
1. Turn the N/D sw itch to neutral.
Start the engine and let it idle fo r 2 - 3 m inutes.
2. Snap the th ro ttle three to fo u r tim es to bleed air
fro m the system.
3. Stop the engine and add coolant up to the fille r
neck.
4. Install the radiator cap.
