FI/IGN/PUMP RELAY

INSPECTION

Remove the seat (page 3-4).

Open the fuse/relay box and rem ove the

PUMP relay.

ECM

C onnect an o h m m e te r to the FI/IGN/PUMP relay

connector term inals.

C onnect a 12 V battery to the fo llo w in g FI/IGN/
PUMP relay connector term inals as show n.

There should be c o n tin u ity o n ly w hen the 12 V bat
te ry is connected.

If there is no co n tin u ity w hen the 12 V battery is

connected, replace the FI/IGN/PUMP relay.

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Remove the center cow l (page 3-6).

Disconnect the ECM 33P connectors.

Remove the rubber band and the ECM.

Installation is in the reverse o rd e r o f rem oval.
