FINAL DRIVE OIL
OIL LEVEL CHECK
Place th e m o to rc y c le on its sidestan d .
R e m o v e th e oil fille r cap fro m th e fin a l g e a r case.
C heck th a t the oil le v e l is up to th e lo w e r e d g e of th e
oil fille r hole.
C heck fo r leaks if th e oil level is lo w . P o u r the rec­
o m m e n d e d oil th ro u g h th e oil fille r h o le until it
reaches th e lo w e r e d g e o f th e hole.
RECOMMENDED OIL: Hypoid gear oil, SAE #80
C oat a n e w O -rin g w ith e n g in e o il an d install it o n to
th e oil fille r cap.
Install a n d tig h te n th e oil fille r cap.
TORQUE: 12 N m (1.2 kgf-m, 9 Ibf-ft)
