BRAKE PADS
PAD REATAINER
Coat n ew piston seals w ith clean brake fluid.
Coat new dust seals w ith silicone grease.
Install the piston and dust seals into the seal
grooves in the caliper.
Coat the caliper pistons w ith clean brake fluid and
install them into the caliper cylinders w ith the o p en ­
ing tow ard the pads.
A pply Honda bond A or equivalent to the installing
surface of the pad retainer.
Install the pad retainer to the bracket.
Install the pad spring in the caliper.
A pply silicone grease to the inner surface of the pin
boots.
Install the caliper pin boot to the caliper.
Install the bracket pin boot to th e bracket.
Assem ble the caliper bracket and the caliper body.
