• M a k e th e re a r brake lig h t sw itc h a d ju s tm e n ts
a fte r th e b rake p edal h e ig h t a d ju s tm e n t.
C heck th a t th e b rake light c o m e s on ju s t p rio r to th e
brake a c tu a lly b ein g e n g a g e d .
If th e lig h t fa ils to c o m e o n , a d ju s t th e sw itc h so th a t
th e lig h t c o m e s on at th e p ro p e r tim e .
Hold the 3witch body end turn the adjusting nut as
re q u ire d .
R echeck th e brake lig h t s w itc h o p e ra tio n .
BRAKE LOCK OPERATION
INSPECTION
U n lo c k th e parkin g brake le v e r b y p u llin g it.
pull th e p a rk in g brake le v e r s lo w ly a n d c o u n t th e
n u m b e r o f notch until th e p a rk in g b rake le v e r is
locked.
STA N D A R D :
3 - 6 notch
if it is o u t o f s ta n d a rd , a d ju s t th e p a rk in g brake as
fo llo w s (p a g e 4 -2 2 ).
ADJUSTMENT
S u p p o rt th e m o to rc y c le s e c u re ly a n d raise th e rear
w h e e l o ff th e g ro u n d .
U n lo c k th e parkin g brake le v e r b y p u llin g it.
Pull th e parkin g brake le v e r u ntil y o u h e a r o n e
notch.
