FUEL SYSTEM (PGM-FI)
D TC 19-1 (CKP S E N S O R )
• Before starting the inspection, check fo r loose or
p o o r contact on the CKP sensor connector and
recheck the DTC.
1. CKP Sensor Peak Voltage Inspection
Turn the ig n itio n sw itch OFF.
Disconnect the CKP sensor 2P (Red) connector.
T urn the ig n itio n sw itch ON and engine stop
sw itch " O ” •
Crank the engine w ith the sta rte r m otor, and
m easure the CKP sensor peak voltage at the CKP
sensor 2P (Red) connector.
Connection: Yellow (+) - W hite/yellow (-)
TOOLS:
Imrie diagnosis tester (model 625) or
Peak voltage adaptor

w ith commercially available digital multimeter
(impedance 10 MS2/DCV minimum)
Is the voltage m ore than 0.7 V (20 C /68 °F)7
YES
- GO TO STEP 2.
NO
- Faulty CKP sensor
2. CKP Sensor Circuit Inspection
T urn the ig n itio n sw itch OFF.
Disconnect the ECM 33P connectors.
Check fo r c o n tin u ity at the Y ellow and W h ite /ye l
lo w w ire between the CKP sensor 2P (Red) con
nector te rm in a ls and
the
ECM
connector
term inals.
Connection: B22 - Yellow
A32 - W hite/yellow
