Emergency OFF (EMO) Circuit

Maintenance
CAN
only be performed after
LOTO
(Lockout &
Tag out) to the system.

The EMO Circuit is used to place the system into a safe shutdown condition,
without generating any additional hazard to personnel or the facility when the
[EMO]
button is activated. Those
[EMO]
buttons should be clearly labeled and
clearly legible from the viewing location.
There is one type of
[EMO]
button used in the system.
Non-key-lockable, self-latching with red, round mushroom head located
at control panels.
