Replacing Filter Cartridge – DOE Filter Housing (Optional

Description

Power off the system and perform Lockout Tagout.

Close isolation valves immediately.
(refer to plumbing drawing for more detail)

Open drain valve (located at the bottom of the filter housing) to drain
liquid inside the housing. Use a pan to collect the runoff.

Un-bolt tri-clamp, being certain to support the housing with hand.

Remove the cartridge from shell by pulling up through the open top
of the housing.
Dispose of cartridge properly according to your local trash
regulations.

Clean and dry inside of housing thoroughly.

Inspect, clean and replace O-ring, if necessary.

Slide the core of the new cartridge over the center rod and through
the open top of the clean housing.
The top of the new cartridge should be at or below the open lid of the
housing.

Re-install housing on filter head by tightens the tri-clamp. Avoid over
tightening or damage to clamp and housing may result.

Close drain valve (at bottom part of filter housing) and open isolation
valves.
