Handling and Transporting
WARNING
Before moving the console, make sure the route is clear of all
obstructions, and workers are at a distance that is more than
the overall height of the console.
WARNING
The console must be handled by a trained and authorized
forklift/overhead crane operator only during transportation.
The DMS unit is designed to withstand storage and
transportation temperatures within the range of –25°C to 55°C
(–13°F to 131°F) and up to 70°C (158°F) for short periods not
exceeding 24 hours.
Size and weight of this machine is able to transport in a single console stably.
The console and electrical enclosure are designed and built as a whole unit.
Machine is not to be dismantled or assembled for transportation should
breakdown or testing happens.
The console is placed on a pallet secured with strapping, stretch wrap or shrink
wrap, crated and shipped. When arrive at site, lift console from its base by
using a forklift, placed it on the floor, uncrate the console and stabilize it before
removing strapping. Pickup points for forklift are as illustrated in Figure 3-2.
The console comes with levelling casters wheels to ease of moving the unit.
Upon uncrate the console; push the console with care to the designated work
area. Lock the caster wheel by adjust levelling leg on it to secure the unit when
reached the designated work area. Anchor the unit when reached the
designated work area if machine is located in earthquake zone country.
