Place a container below the bucket strainer.

Close isolation valves immediately.
(Refer to plumbing drawing for more detail)

Untighten the tri-clamp.

Remove the Tee-Line strainer body slowly.

Loosen the T-bolt by turning it counterclockwise to release the insert.

Remove the foreign object and remove any debris or sludge from
within the Tee-Line Bucket Strainer.

Clean the insert and strainer body with clean DI water.

Inspect gasket and insert for any damage or defect. Replace if
necessary. Always ensure there is a spare gasket and insert on hand
prior to maintenance.

Upon cleaning, fasten the insert back to the strainer body and tighten
it.

Tighten the tri-clamp.

Open all closed isolation valves and switch ON the system.

Ensure not water leaking out from bucket strainer. If so, redo
plumbing work.
6.5.7.1
Insert Orientation (Tee-Line Strainer)
Insert of the bucket strainer is to catch or filter foreign materials out of the
pumps, valves and process equipment to prevent blockage inside plumbing
and avoid damage to the pump. Upon performing preventive maintenance for
the bucket strainer, “insert” has to be installed into bucket strainer with correct
orientation, otherwise filtration is not effective.

Note
: The CURVE surface of the “Insert” needs to be installed perpendicular to
the flow.
