Liquid Leak Detection Sensor
Figure 1-4: Liquid Leak Sensor Location (Station Plumbing Area)
A liquid leak sensor is installed in the containment pan for leak detection. The
pump base is raised higher than containment pan’s height and located inside
the containment pan which is able to contain 110% volume of a tank. These pre-
cautions have minimized the risk such as electrocution, overflow causing slip or
falls in the event the leak sensor fails. When leak sensor detects water in contact
with it, its yellow light will turn off.
When liquid leak sensor is triggered, the equipment will:
Stop all cleaning process. Pumps, heaters and ultrasonic generators will
be de-energized.
Alarm buzzer will turn ON.
“LIQUID LEAK ALARM” alarm message will be displayed on the
display monitor.
To reset the interlock alarm:
1.
Fix the leakage problem.
2.
Clean and dry the containment pan.
3.
Leak sensor indicator light should turn back on.
4.
Press the [Reset] button on the touch screen to reset the alarm and
resume operation.
