Chapter 12 Profile Management
Syslog Profile
Syslog Profile
The Syslog profile is used to create a standard template for the Syslog objects listed below. These objects
are discussed in detail in the
Syslog Management Window
, found in
Chapter 9, “Software Management.”

Enable Notification
Syslog profiles are created using the Syslog Management Profile window.
To launch the Syslog Management window, perform one of the following:
•
Right–click a Site object within the Network or Physical containment views, then choose
CSM/7600 Manager > Logical > Software > Syslog Profile.
•
Right–click a Network Element object within the Network or Physical containment views, then
choose Logical > Software > Syslog Profile.
•
Right–click a Software object within the Physical containment view, then choose Syslog Profile.
