Chapter 10 Virtual Interface Management

VLAN Management Window

Figure 10-8 VLAN Management—Modify QoS Policy Map Window

The following is displayed on the VLAN Management—Modify QoS Policy Map window:

–

Policy Map Name—Unique identifier of the VLAN to be added on the device. The string
“VLAN–” will prepend to the VLAN number specified.

–

Modify—Maps the selected QoS input service policy to the VLAN.

Note

The policy map name must identify an existing policy map on the device.

Note

It is not possible to modify the policy if a Distributed Forwarding Card has been installed in the
switch.

•

Remove Policy—Detaches an input QoS policy map from the VLAN interface.

Membership QoS

The Membership QoS area allows you to enable or disable VLAN-based QoS on the VLAN’s member
interfaces.

•

Enable VLAN-Based QoS—Enables VLAN-based QoS on each of the VLAN’s member interfaces.

•

Disable VLAN-Based QoS—Disables VLAN-based QoS on each of the VLAN’s member
interfaces.
