NDE Management Window
NDE Management Window
The NDE Management window provides information on the Netflow Data Export (NDE) configuration
on a Catalyst switch. There is only one instance of this class per managed device.
NDE makes traffic statistics available for analysis by an external data collector. You can use NDE to
monitor all Layer 3 switched and all routed IP unicast traffic.
This window is launched from the Software object or the NDE object in the physical view.
Note
The EM does not support NDE in a pure CatOS environment. The NDE object will not be deployed or
will be deleted for a pure CatOS switch instance.
To launch the NDE Management window, perform one of the following:
•
Right–click a Site object within the Network or Physical containment views, then choose
CSM/7600 Manager > Logical > Software > NDE.
•
Right–click a Network Element object within the Network or Physical containment views, then
choose Logical > Software > NDE.
•
Right–click a Software object within the Physical containment view, then choose NDE.
•
Right–click an NDE object within the Physical containment view, then choose NDE.
