Chapter 10      Virtual Interface Management

VLAN Management Window

QoS Tab

The following areas are available on the QoS tab of the VLAN Management window:

•

QoS

•

Membership QoS

Note

The QoS tab of the VLAN Management window is inactive for Cisco Catalyst 2950 and 3550 series 
devices running a hybrid OS.

QoS 

The QoS area allows you to enable or disable Microflow policing of bridged traffic on the VLAN, and 
attach or detach service policies to VLAN interfaces.

Note

To enable QoS, the managed device must be a VTP server or operating in VTP transparent mode. 

•

Microflow Policing Enabled—Indicates whether Microflow policing of bridged traffic is enabled on 
the VLAN.

•

Input Service Policy—Indicates the QoS policy map applied to the VLAN. This value is disabled in 
a pure CatOS environment.

•

Modify Policy—Launches the VLAN Management—Modify QoS Policy Map window. Attaches an 
input QoS policy map to the VLAN interface. This action may fail if the policy map is not suitable 
for use with an Ethernet VLAN.
