Ethernet Interface Management Window

STP Tab

The following areas are available on the STP tab of the Ethernet Interface Management window:

•

Access Mode 

•

Per VLAN STP Setting 

•

STP Status 

In addition to the areas on the STP tab, the following attributes are available at the top of the tab:

•

Guard Mode—Indicates whether or not STP guard mode is enabled on an interface. These are 
possible values:

–

root

–

none

–

loop (Hybrid OS only)

•

PortFast Enabled—Indicates whether or not an interface is enabled to move directly to the 
forwarding state on link up. This is a read-only attribute. Portfast can be configured on a trunking 
interface, but it only has an effect when the interface is in access mode. These are possible values:

–

true

–

false

•

MST Configuration—Launches the CCSM EtherInterface MST Config Dialog Window.
