Serial Subinterface Management—Configuration Window

You can select one chassis, more than one module, more than one interface, and more than one
sub–interface at a time from the object list on the left side of the window.
The Serial Sub–Interface Advanced Configuration window contains one area named General.
General:

CDP—Indicates the status of CDP on the selected subinterface, enabled or disabled.

Local Proxy ARP—Indicates the status of local proxy ARP on the selected subinterface,
enabled or disabled.
Layer 3
The Layer 3 area contains the following information:
•
IP Address—Displays the IP address of the Layer 3 interface.
•
Netmask—Subnet mask of the IP address. Enabled bits indicate network addressing bits in the IP
address.
•
Clear IP Address button—After receiving confirmation, will remove the IP address setting for this
interface.
