Checking Before Installation
■ Check Items when Turning OFF the
Main Power
Check that the main power switch is OFF.
1. Turn OFF the main power switch of the host machine.
2. Be sure that Control Panel Display and Main Power
Lamp are both turned OFF, and then disconnect the
power plug from the outlet.
■ Points to Note on Installation
The Heater Kit must be installed before installing the
Cassette Heater Unit.
Checking the Contents
Make sure that none of the following parts are missing.

*1: These items are not used for CST. Feeding Unit.
NOTE:
When installing the cassette heater to the 250 sheets
cassette, prepare the Cassette Heater Sheet and High
Temperature Caution Label included to Cst Heater Kit-J1.
Installation Procedure
CAUTION:
Check that the main power switch is OFF and the
power plug is disconnected from the outlet.
■ In case of Upper Cassette for 550

1. Draw out the cassette.
2. Remove the connector cover.
