(1) Since the standard IEC 62061 is an integration standard, the global safety function (according to SIL 2 ACOPOSinverter P84 - the charts process system

individual components of the safety function (according to SIL 2 CL ACOPOSinverter P84) are differentiated between.

As a preventive measure, an annual activation of the safety function is recommended. However, the safety levels
are achieved without annual activation with lower margins.
Note:
The above table is not sufficient for the evaluation of the Performance Level (PL) of a power frequency
inverter system. The PL assessment must take place at the system level. For the evaluation of the
system performance levels the BDM mechanic or integrator must supplement the figures in the above
table by the sensor data.
