DC Power Cables
Depending on the type of DC power supplies, the voltages used, and the alti-
tude of the site of operation, use different detachable power cables. Use UL
listed flexible power cables. The cables should comply with the minimum
requirements described in
.

The end of the cable that is attached to the terminal block of the shelf PSU
should be fitted with the appropriate ring lugs (flat blade type or isolated). They
should accept retaining screws with metric threads M3.5 (PSU/7HU-DC,
PSU/7HU-DC-HP and 1HU shelf types). The wires at the other end of the cable
must be fitted with terminals that match the connectors of the power source. The
length of the DC power cable depends on the location of the shelf within the rack
