The term 7HU shelf refers to the SH7HU and SH7HU-R.
Normally, the shelves are stacked in the rack directly on top of each other with
no space between. The DCF1HU-P Shelf makes an exception.

CAUTION
Risk of Fire and Risk of Damage to Equipment due to Overheating!
When mounting a DCF1HU-P shelf beneath a 9HU shelf or 7HU
shelf, leave a minimum of 1 HU of space between the bottom of a
9HU shelf or 7HU shelf and the top of a DCM shelf to allow a free flow
of air to the shelf above. Failure to do so could cause overheating
conditions and results in incorrect operation, damage to system
components or fire.
