ETSI and NEBS Adaptor Brackets for a 9HU shelf
To replace the 19-inch brackets with the NEBS brackets or the ETSI brackets
perform the following steps:
Procedure
Step 1
Take the 9HU shelf out of its shipping box and put it on earthed sur-
face or an antistatic mat.
Step 2
Remove the ESD protective bag from the shelf and lay it aside.
Step 3
Take the ETSI or NEBS brackets out of the plastic bags (as supplied
in the rack-mount kit).
Step 4
If mounted, remove the front cover from the shelf by pressing the
outer black latches and pulling it towards you.
Step 5
Lay the front cover aside.
Step 6
Remove the 19-inch bracket on one side panel of the shelf as follows:
a) Using the Torx screwdriver TX20, turn the two screws fixing the
19-inch bracket in counter-clockwise direction until they are
removed from thread holes completely and lay them aside.
b) Remove the bracket.
A small fixing bracket that is used to hold the front cover (see
) is attached to the dismounted 19-inch bracket.
