Shelf to the NEBS standard rack dimensions. ETSI brackets are required to 
adapt the shelf to the ETSI standard rack dimensions.

It is assumed that you are familiar with ESD-prevention precautions that should 
be taken to avoid ESD damage to the equipment.

Tools and Parts Required

•

1 x 19-inch bracket pair or

•

1 x 23-inch bracket pair or

•

1 x ETSI bracket pair or 

•

1x customized ETSI bracket pair

•

8 x screws for fixing the brackets

•

Torx screwdriver TX 10

•

ESD-preventive wrist strap or other personal earthing devices

•

Suitable grounded surface or an antistatic mat for placing the shelf

Figure 47

 shows a 19-inch bracket.

CAUTION

Only Service Personnel are allowed to perform this procedure.

Ensure that you are grounded with a wrist strap or equivalent while 
mounting the brackets to a shelf which contains ESD-sensitive 
devices.
