Step 8
Navigate to the square-bracketed Own IP field and press ENTER.
This opens a drop-down list with the two options Default-IP and Sys-
tem-IP
. The chosen IP becomes the source IP address used by the
NE to send requests. Default-IP is automatically used if the NTP
server address is not registered in the routing table.
Step 9
Navigate to the corresponding IP option in the Own IP drop-down list
and press ENTER to confirm your setting and to exit the field.
Step 10 Navigate to the square-bracketed Admin State field and press
ENTER. This opens a drop-down list with the two options In Service
and Disabled.
Step 11 To make the NTP server available navigate to In Service in the Admin
State
drop-down list and press ENTER to confirm your setting and to
exit the field.
Step 12 Navigate to [Apply] and press ENTER to save your settings. In
response, an informational window is shown:

Step 13 Navigate to [OK] and press ENTER. In response, your new NTP
server will be displayed in the box of configured NTP servers.
Step 14 To view or edit a configured remote NTP server configuration navi-
gate to the relevant remote NTP server listed in the box of configured
remote NTP servers so it is highlighted.

Note
If Default-IP has been selected, the packets leaving the NCU will be
assigned the interface IP address as the source address.
