Step 2
To continue, choose one of the following:
•
Click [Yes] to make HyperTerminal your default telnet program.
•
Click [No] to abort.
Upon selecting Yes, the “Location Information” window appears. This
window will only be displayed with initial usage of HyperTerminal:
Step 3
Select your country/region from the drop-down list.
Step 4
Enter your area code.
Step 5
You may type a carrier code as well as a number to access an outside
line. This information is optional and does not have an effect on the
program to work properly.
Step 6
Specify whether your phone system uses Tone dialing or Pulse dialing
and select the appropriate one.
Step 7
Select [OK] and the “Connection Description” window appears to
define a new connection:
