2.1.23
If a new wing is installed, release the lift force from the sling and carefully lower the jack that supports
the wing until the wing is not supported on the jack. If you install the wing that was removed, go to
Step 2.1.25.
2.1.24
Use a feeler gage to measure the gap between the fuselage frame 24 and the wing rear spar:
2.1.24.1
If the gap is less than 0,5 mm (0.02 in) go to Step 2.1.25.
2.1.24.2
If the gap is 0,5 mm (0.02 in) or more, install a shim Figure 1 [26] between the fuselage frame 24 and
the wing rear spar.
2.1.25
Install the shim Figure 1 [26] if previously installed, and the washer Figure 1 [23] with the chamfer
towards the fitting. Use Paste (Pt.No. P04-029) to lubricate the nut. Install the new nut Figure 1 [22]
and torque to between 112 and 120 Nm (992 and 1062 lbf in) plus the nut friction torque. Make sure
the washer Figure 1 [23] does not turn when the nut Figure 1 [22] is torque tightened.
