Position the indicator Figure 1 [15] in the cover Figure 1 [16] and on the fork end Figure 1 [11]. Install
the bolts Figure 1 [13], washers Figure 1 [14] and nuts Figure 1 [10].

Close the door Figure 1 [1] and push the door handle Figure 1 [2] inwards to the closed position. If the
hand force required to close the door continues to be high, replace the striker plates, refer to 12-B-52-
10-07-00A-920B-A.
Note
From the checks done to find the cause of the high hand force identify the striker plates to be replaced.
Most frequently this will be the lower pair, nearest to the door hinge. It is recommended not to replace
more than one pair of striker plates at a time.

5.1
Remove all the equipment, tools and materials from the work area. Make sure that the work area is
clean.

Install the passenger/crew door trim panels, refer to AMM 12-B-25-21-03-00A-920A-A or 12-B-25-22-
03-00A-920A-A.

Do a cabin leak test:
