Plot the IPS and clock position on the balance chart (Fig. 4 Chart A).

Calculate the quantity of weights required and make a record on the chart (Fig. 4 Chart B).
Note
For each 0.1 IPS out of balance approximately 12 g (0.42 oz) is required.
4.2.22.3
Position the propeller with the interrupter adjacent to the magnetic pick-up.
4.2.22.4
Install weights in the position shown, viewed from the front of the aircraft (Fig. 4 Chart C).
Note
The holes are numbered counterclockwise, with 12 o'clock at the bottom.
Note
Make sure that the threads of the balance weight screws on the backplate come out of the nuts by a
minimum of one thread and a maximum of four threads.

Do the balance test again.
4.3
Disconnect The Dynamic Balancer
Refer to Fig. 1
4.3.1
Disconnect the magnetic pick-up cable to the MAC PU A connection of the unit.
4.3.2
Disconnect the velometer cable to the VELO 1 connection of the unit.
4.3.3
Remove the dynamic balancer from the flight compartment.

Remove The Balancing Kit
5.1
Open and install a safety clip on this circuit breaker:
−
STARTER (ESSENTIAL BUS).
5.2
Open the engine cowling 43AL.
5.3
Remove the electrical cables Figure 1 [1] and Figure 1 [2]:

Disconnect the electrical connector Figure 1 [7] from the velometer Figure 1 [8].
5.5
Disconnect the electrical connector Figure 1 [17] from the magnetic pick-up Figure 1 [18].
5.6
Remove the cable ties and the masking tape from the electrical wires Figure 1 [1] and Figure 1 [2].
5.7
Remove the electrical cables Figure 1 [1] and Figure 1 [2] from the engine compartment and the flight
compartment.
5.8
Close the DV window.
5.9
Install the access panel 21AL.
5.10
Remove the magnetic pick-up Figure 1 [18]:

Remove the lockwire from the locknuts Figure 1 [19].
5.10.2
5.10.3
Remove the nuts Figure 1 [14] and the magnetic pick-up bracket Figure 1 [13] from the blanking plate
Figure 1 [16].
5.10.4
Install the nuts Figure 1 [14] and washers Figure 1 [15] on the blanking plate Figure 1 [16].
5.10.5
Torque the nuts Figure 1 [14] to between 8,5 and 9,6 Nm (75 and 85 lbf in).
5.11
Remove the nut Figure 1 [10] and the velometer bracket Figure 1 [9] from the stud Figure 1 [11].
5.12
Install the nut Figure 1 [10] on the stud Figure 1 [11].
