Procedure

General
The aircraft can be temporarily parked in a hangar or outside in low wind speeds. If the aircraft is
outside and the wind speeds are high, moor the aircraft, refer to AMM 12-B-10-20-00-00A-901A-A.
If the aircraft is not to be used for a long time, do the storage of the aircraft, refer to AMM 12-B-10-10-
01-00A-901A-A.

Parking - Maintenance Practices
Note
Before you install or remove covers, make sure that they are serviceable and complete.
Note
If the aircraft is parked in sunlight, the
Cockpit sun screen (optional) (Pt.No. T10-005)
position behind the flight compartment windows to protect the interior from heat and UV damage.
2.1
Put the aircraft on a level surface. If the aircraft is not in a hangar, point the aircraft into the usual wind
direction, refer to AMM 12-B-09-10-00-00A-901A-A.
2.2
Put the parking brake to ON.
2.3
Put the Wheel chock set (Pt.No. T10-015) at the front and the rear of the nose wheel and each main
wheel.
2.4
If the aircraft is parked outside and heavy snowfall is expected, install the Hand towbar/Tail
stand Figure 1 [9] to support the rear fuselage.
Note
The towbar/tail stand is stowed in the rear fuselage of the aircraft.
2.5
Ground the aircraft.
2.6
Close the DV window, the passenger/crew door and the cargo door.
Note
Keep the DV window open if the aircraft is parked in a hangar.
2.7
Make sure that all access panels are correctly installed and closed.
2.8
Install the covers as follows:

Cover assembly, engine air-intake Figure 1 [1]
−
Cover assembly, air intakes (oil cooler, ECS and generator) Figure 1 [7]
−
Cover assembly, exhaust LH and Cover assembly, exhaust RH Figure 1 [2]
−
Cover assembly, AOA sensor LH and Cover assembly, AOA sensor RH Figure 1 [4]
−
Cover assembly, pitot tube Figure 1 [8]
−
Cover assembly, propeller Figure 1 [3]
−
Install the Lock pin emergency exit Figure 1 [6] in the inner handle of the emergency exit
Figure 1 [5].
2.9
Engage the flying controls gust lock in the flight compartment, refer to AMM 12-B-27-70-00-00A-040A-
A.
2.10
Lock the passenger/crew and cargo doors.
2.11
Lock the service door 31AB.
