3.4.4 Install the brackets Figure 5 [50] and the bonding lead Figure 5 [51] on the engine with the nuts
Figure 5 [52].
3.4.5 Torque the nuts Figure 5 [52] to between 3,6 and 4,0 Nm (32 and 36 lbf in).
3.4.6 Install the clamps Figure 5 [47] and Figure 5 [48] on the engine with the screw Figure 5 [49], washer
Figure 5 [46] and nut Figure 5 [45].
3.4.7 Install the two brackets Figure 5 [41] on the plenum Figure 5 [42] with the two screws Figure 5 [40],
washers Figure 5 [43] and nuts Figure 5 [44].
3.4.8 Install the brackets Figure 5 [38] on the engine with the bolt Figure 5 [37] and nut Figure 5 [39].
3.4.9 Install the bracket Figure 5 [34] and clamp Figure 5 [36] on the engine with the screw Figure 5 [35],
washer Figure 5 [33] and nut Figure 5 [32].
3.4.10 Install the clamps Figure 5 [26] and brackets Figure 5 [29] on the engine with the screws Figure 5 [27]
and Figure 5 [28], washers Figure 5 [25] and Figure 5 [30], and nuts Figure 5 [24] and Figure 5 [31].
3.4.11 Install the bracket Figure 5 [23] on the engine with the nut Figure 5 [22].
3.4.12 Torque the nut Figure 5 [22] to between 3,6 and 4,0 Nm (32 and 36 lbf in).
3.4.13 Install the clamps Figure 5 [18] and Figure 5 [19] on the engine with the screw Figure 5 [17], washer
Figure 5 [20] and nut Figure 5 [21].
3.4.14 Install the clamps Figure 5 [9] and Figure 5 [10] on the Py pipe Figure 5 [11] with the screw
Figure 5 [8], washer Figure 5 [12] and nut Figure 5 [13].
3.4.15 Install the bracket Figure 5 [14] on the engine with the bolt Figure 5 [16] and nut Figure 5 [15].
3.4.16 Install the clamps Figure 5 [6] and Figure 5 [7] on the engine with the screws Figure 5 [3], washers
Figure 5 [4] and nuts Figure 5 [5].
3.4.17 Put the firewire Figure 5 [1] in position on the engine.
3.4.18 Make sure that all the insulators are in the correct position and close the all clamps to hold the firewire
Figure 5 [1].
3.4.19 Install the bracket Figure 5 [57] and transmitter Figure 5 [58] on the accessory gearbox Figure 5 [55]
with the two nuts Figure 5 [56].
3.4.20 Torque the nuts Figure 5 [56] to between 3,6 and 4,0 Nm (32 and 36 lbf in).
3.4.21 If necessary, attach the exhaust clamps Figure 5 [2] to the firewire Figure 5 [1].
3.5 Install the Compressor Wash Kit
Note
This is necessary for post Service Bulletin 71-012 aircraft only.
Refer to Fig. 2 , Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 .
3.5.1 Undo the fastener Figure 4 [3], open the firewire clamp and move the firewire and insulator Figure 4 [1]
out of the firewire clamp Figure 4 [2].
3.5.2 Loosen the screw Figure 4 [4] and the nut Figure 4 [6] that holds the firewire clamp Figure 4 [2] on the
bracket Figure 4 [5].
3.5.3 Turn the firewire clamp Figure 4 [2] 180° and tighten the screw Figure 4 [4] and the nut Figure 4 [6]
that holds the firewire clamp Figure 4 [2] on the bracket Figure 4 [5].
3.5.4 CAUTION
DO NOT KINK THE FIREWIRE WHEN YOU MOVE IT. IF THE FIREWIRE IS KINKED IT MUST
BE REPLACED.
Carefully move the firewire and insulator Figure 4 [1] into the clamp Figure 4 [2].
