Open and install a Safety clip - Circuit breaker hold open (Pt.No. T12-030) on this circuit breaker:

4.1.4
Remove the engine cowlings 42AT and 42AB.
4.1.5
Remove and discard the lockwire from the exhaust duct cap Figure 1 [20].
4.1.6
Remove the exhaust duct cap Figure 1 [20] from the union Figure 1 [21].
4.1.7
Disconnect the P3 pipe Figure 1 [24] from the union Figure 1 [22].
4.1.8
Disconnect the P3 pipe Figure 1 [26] and the union Figure 1 [22] from the port Figure 1 [23] and the
EPA tank Figure 1 [25].
4.1.9
Remove the left spark ignitor, refer to AMM 12-B-74-20-00-00A-920A-A.

Connect the wash rig to the spray tube Figure 1 [27].
4.1.12
Remove the safety clip and close the circuit breaker:

4.2
CAUTION
OBEY THE STARTER MOTOR OPERATION LIMITS. THIS WILL HELP PREVENT DAMAGE TO
THE STARTER MOTOR.
Procedure
4.2.1
Energize the aircraft electrical system, refer to AMM 12-B-24-00-00-00A-901A-A.
4.2.2
Do the dry motor of the engine, refer to AMM 12-B-71-00-00-00A-901A-A. When the Ng increases to
5% operate the wash rig to supply the rinse solution to the engine.
4.2.3
Use the chronograph in the cockpit to measure the time of the operation.
4.2.4
Stop the starter motor after 30 seconds.
4.2.5
When the Ng decreases to 5% stop the supply of rinse solution to the engine.
4.2.6
If a water/methyl alcohol solution was used do a dry motor of the engine, refer to AMM 12-B-71-00-00-
00A-901A-A.
4.2.7
De-energize the aircraft electrical system, refer to AMM 12-B-24-00-00-00A-901A-A.

4.3.1

Disconnect the wash rig from the spray tube Figure 1 [27].
4.3.3
Remove the spray tube Figure 1 [27] from the engine.
4.3.4
Install the left spark ignitor, refer to AMM 12-B-74-20-00-00A-920A-A.
4.3.5
Connect the P3 pipe Figure 1 [26] and the union Figure 1 [22] to the EPA tank Figure 1 [25] and the
port Figure 1 [23].
4.3.6
Connect the P3 pipe Figure 1 [24] to the union Figure 1 [22].
4.3.7
Install the exhaust duct cap Figure 1 [20] on the union Figure 1 [21].
4.3.8
Torque the exhaust duct cap Figure 1 [20] to between 7,4 and 8,5 Nm (65 and 75 lbf in).
4.3.9
Safety the exhaust duct cap Figure 1 [20] with Lockwire (standard) (Pt.No. P02-007).
