(2) Input/Output port configuration
As it is the automatic assignment setting, the fieldbus should be assigned for 64 points from
the top, and PIO Unit #1 and #2 and EC Connection Unit #1 and #2 should be assigned for
16 points from closer order to RSEL.

Operate EC with the following input and output ports in the SEL program.
Control: Output port No.396 to 411
Status: Input port No.96 to 111

EC connection unit #2
Operate EC with the following input and output ports in the host device (PLC).
Control: Input port No.48 to 63

* Do not attempt to set other input and output features (in input, Program Start Input /
Software Reset Input / Remote Mode Control Input, etc. and for output, Error Output
/ READY Output / Output during Servo-on, etc.) to the input and output ports related
to the EC connection unit. It should cause Error Code 62D: “Input and Output
Feature Port Number Error” and so on.
