In Silent mode ON, a confirmation screen appears asking whether to
switch to the call using the speakerphone function. Select "No" to the
call using the earpiece.

You can answer a videophone call using a substitute image set in
Image setting (Videophone image) by pressing

. The substitute image is sent to the other party when the
videophone call is connected. When Chara-den is set as the substitute
image, the Chara-den may not be displayed. If this happens, the default
image set for Substitute image is sent to the other party.

For calls received from callers not saved in the phonebook, you can set to reject incoming calls or set the ring tone
or vibrator ringer action not to start immediately. → P156, P157

Telephones that do not support dialed long-distance calls such as internal phones and PBX cannot be used to
make calls to FOMA terminals.
Reading incoming call screen
The other party's phone number, name, image, movie/i-motion, Chaku-moji message, etc. may be
displayed on the screen according to the sending condition of the caller and FOMA terminal settings.

When the other party notifies caller ID
When the phone number of the other party is not saved in your phonebook,
the phone number and the image set in Call alert (Incoming call) or
Videophone alert (Videophone receiving) is displayed.
If the phone number of the other party is saved in your phonebook, the
name and phone number are displayed as specified in Receive display.
When Contact image is "ON", the image or movie/i-motion that is set in the
phonebook is displayed.
When there is an incoming call accompanied by a Chaku-moji message, the
message appears as specified in Message display settings of Chaku-moji.
When the call is answered, Chaku-moji message disappears.
