Data interchange with external device

FOMA F series data link software

FOMA F series data link software

 includes the 

following 4 functions. These are collectively called 
"data link software".

The software is contained in the attached CD-ROM. It 
can also be downloaded from the website.

Windows 2000 and XP support the data link 
software.

For details on installation of data link software 
and communication configuration file, see 
"DataLink.txt" of DataLink folder in the attached 
CD-ROM.

For details on data that can be transferred, 
operating environment, operational procedure 
or restriction items, see the attached CD-ROM, 
Help of the data link software or the website.

INFORMATION

･

Some data cannot be synchronized with Data 

synchro software. For details about data that can be 

synchronized, see Help of the software.

･

The same data item may go under a name in the data 

link software that differs from that used in the FOMA 

terminal.

･

The calendar display range of the data link software 

differs from the display range of the calendar screen 

on the FOMA terminal.

･

Movie/i-motion shot by other than F903i may not be 

able to be transferred.

･

When using Microsoft

®

 Exchange Server, Microsoft

®

 

Outlook

®

 cannot be synchronized with it. You must 

use the data after releasing the sharing of Microsoft

®

 

Exchange Server.

･

Still images, movie/i-motion and melodies not 

permitted to output from the FOMA terminal cannot 

be transferred to PC. Note that data with File 

restriction set to "File restricted" with the same 

terminal, and data in "Data transfer" folder can be 

forwarded.

･

For reading/writing data using SD utility, transferring 

may take a long time depending on data volume.
