Phonebook
Phonebooks supported by FOMA terminal
FOMA F903i supports FOMA terminal phonebook and UIM phonebook. You can make voice/
videophone call or PushTalk call, send mail or SMS from these phonebooks. In addition,
F903i has PushTalk phonebook only for PushTalk.

Items to be saved in FOMA terminal phonebook and UIM phonebook are as follows:

*1: The number of items that can be saved in a phonebook may be decreased depending on the type of data saved.
*2: Items that can be set are birthday, note, postal code/street address, location information, company name, job title and
URL.

Phonebook data saved in your UIM is available even when it is inserted to another FOMA terminal.
Name displays
When making a call for a party saved in FOMA terminal phonebook or UIM phonebook, the name and
phone number saved in the phonebook are displayed on the calling, ringing and talking screen. The display
depends on Receive display settings.
Even when a phone number or mail address is directly entered without searching Redial, Received calls or
Phonebook that saves incoming/outgoing call information, a name saved in Phonebook appears in a voice
memo or as a sender of a received message, destination of a sent/unsent message, party in a customized
menu, etc.

When phonebook entries of different names with the same phone number/mail address are saved in the
FOMA terminal phonebook, the first saved name is displayed.

When phonebook entries of different names with the same phone number/mail address are saved in both
phonebooks, the name saved in FOMA terminal phonebook is displayed.

When mail is received from a sender with mail address that completely matches with that saved in the
phonebook including the domain name succeeding @, the name saved in the phonebook appears. Note
that, however, for a sender with i-mode terminal, the name saved in the phonebook appears even when
the domain name (@docomo.ne.jp) is omitted in the mail address saved in the phonebook. If the mail
address is "mobile phone number@docomo.ne.jp", add it to the phonebook omitting "@docomo.ne.jp".

When SMS is received from a phone number that matches with one of those saved in the phonebook,
the name saved in the phonebook appears.
