Phonebook

Viewing User information :

The image, phonebook No. (FOMA terminal phonebook only), name, readings, group name, first
phone number (with icon type) and first mail address (with icon type) registered in the phonebook
appear.
The name and readings fully appear without cutting down.
Switching details screen display <View preference>
Set whether to display images on the phonebook details screen. The settings are reflected to all of the
phonebook entry details screens.

The settings are also reflected to View preference of Dialed calls, Received calls, Mail logs and User
information.

When operating from UIM phonebook, press

and select a display to be given
preference.
Show with image : An image appears. A maximum of 5 two-byte or 11 one-byte characters for a
name and 13 one-byte characters for readings with characters are displayed.
Show only name : No image appears. A maximum of 9 two-byte or 19 one-byte characters for a
name and 23 one-byte characters for readings with characters are displayed.
Show saved image : Settings in "Show with image" are used when there is a saved image and
settings in "Show only name" are used when not.
Edit phonebook
Editing phonebook entries
If the same phonebook entry is saved in the PushTalk phonebook, the phonebook entry in
the PushTalk phonebook is also edited.

A confirmation screen is displayed asking to select a saving method. Select Overwrite or New entry.

If the phonebook number of FOMA terminal phonebook entry is changed to overwrite the one
already used, the entry already saved on the number is deleted.

When a phone number saved in PushTalk phonebook is deleted and Overwrite is selected, a
confirmation screen asking whether to delete data from the PushTalk phonebook is displayed.
