Character Entry

Deco-mail pictogram can be inserted also by pressing
m
on a message text or Edit signature entry screen,
selecting "Decorate mail"
→
"Insert image" and then
selecting "Phone memory" or "microSD" (if microSD
is inserted).

When a symbol is selected from a submenu and a left
element (e.g. "

") of the following brackets is
selected, the related right element (e.g. " ｝ ") is
automatically entered.

Quoting data to enter characters
Characters can be entered by quoting password
saved in Password manager, phonebook data, user
information, the calculation results on Calculator or
character string of the data scanned with Bar code
reader.

A result of calculation with Calculator can be
quoted to Scheduler and Notepad. Data read
with Bar code reader can be quoted to a URL
entry screen or to a character entry screen during
i-mode or Full Browser operation. Other data can
be quoted to all character entry screens except
when a character entry screen and quoted data
have the same function (such as phonebook data
on a phonebook character entry screen).
