Specifies the display size and the lighting
condition for a Chara-den play.

Display size:
Specifies whether to magnify and display
Chara-den to fit on the area or to display at
the same magnification at the center of the
screen while playing Chara-den.
Set lighting:
Sets operation of the lighting during Chara-
den play.

When "Terminal settings" is set, the light is
turned ON according to Display light of
Display.
Making full use of melody
Playing melodies

Melodies in SMF or MFi format can be played on
FOMA terminals.

The following melodies are saved in each
folder in Melody:
i-mode:
Melodies downloaded from a site or i-mode
mail
Preinstalled:
Melodies stored in FOMA terminal by
default

Mail attach melody:
Melodies for i-mode mail attachment stored
in FOMA terminal by default
→ P221
Item Description
Quality Sets the quality of the still image file to
be saved. Higher quality requires a
larger size of still image files.

Quality Sets quality of the video to record.
Higher quality of the video requires a
larger size of files.
Size
restriction
Sets the size restriction of the video
files to be saved. When file size of the
recording video reaches the limit value,
recording ends automatically.

Shutter
sound
Sets the shooting confirmation sound
(Shutter sound) for starting and ending
shooting.

Placing the cursor on the shooting
confirmation sound (Shutter sound)
plays the sound.
Rec.File
Restriction
When you send still images/videos to
the other mobile phone via mail
attachment or data transfer, you can set
whether to restrict sending still images/
videos to the other mobile phone from
received party mobile phone.

Downloaded Chara-den with "File
restricted" preset cannot be changed
to "File unrestricted".
･
A still image or video taken from
Chara-den with "File restricted" set
(except when Rec.File Restriction has
been set to "File restricted" in the
local terminal) is not available for
editing, forwarding or mail
attachment.
Auto save Specifies whether to automatically
save shot still images or videos.

Setting "Yes" automatically saves
shot/recorded data into the specified
destination.

Setting "No" displays a confirmation
screen at the end of shooting, which
allows operations such as switching
memories to save or composing
message.
Save to: Sets the destination to save.
Display size Specifies whether to magnify Chara-
den to the display range for display or
to display at the same magnification at
the center of the screen.

The setting takes effect the next time
the shooting screen is displayed.
Set lighting Sets operation of the lighting during
shooting.
･
When "Terminal settings" is set, the
light is turned ON according to
Display light of Display.
