Voice call/Videophone call
INFORMATION

When 4 messages are recorded in Answer machine, appears on the stand-by display. In this case, even when
Answer machine is cancelled, the icon remains displayed and activation of Answer machine is disabled. When an
attempt is made to activate Quick answer machine, a warning sound (2 short beeps) is emitted and the ring alert
keeps sounding. While the Voice Mail or Call forwarding service is used, each service is operated. Delete
unnecessary recorded messages.
When there is an incoming call with Answer machine active

A call is received.
When the response time set in Greeting msg resp time elapses, Greeting screen appears. The other
party hears a greeting message according to the setting of Set greeting message.

The other party's message is recorded.

When the recording is completed, the call is ended.

Even while playing greeting or recording a message, a call can be answered. Press

to answer a voice call.
For a videophone call, press

to send a camera image or press

to send a substitute image. The
contents of the recorded message before receiving the call are not recorded.

When the FOMA terminal is out of service area or turned OFF, answer machine does not operate. Use Voice Mail
service.

Answer machine cannot be started and the ring alert keeps sounding when 4 messages have already been
recorded. While the Voice Mail or Call forwarding service is used, each service is operated.

The recording of the messages may be distorted or the image may be blurred if the signal quality is poor.
Setting the response time before the greeting starts

You can set the period of time from the arrival of a call to the start of the greeting message is played.
