Backing up data saved in FOMA
terminal to microSD memory card
All PIM or LCS client data in FOMA terminal can be
backed up to microSD memory card at once.

The PushTalk phonebook data (including
group data) is backed up together with the
phonebook entry.

Bookmark backup operation causes both the
i-mode and Full Browser bookmarks to be
backed up.

to stop backup. If terminated, the
data already backed up will be discarded.

Restoring backup data of microSD
memory card
Each PIM or LCS client data backed up in microSD
memory card can be restored to FOMA terminal.

Restoration is done in one of 2 ways: additional
restoration and overwriting restoration. Note
that for overwriting restoration, new data is
overwritten to PIM or LCS client data in FOMA
terminal, deleting the original data.

The PushTalk phonebook data is restored
together with the phonebook backup data.
I
The backed up order of phonebook groups may
not be reverted by restoration.

If restoration by adding is performed, the data
is saved as different data from that saved in
the FOMA terminal. If restoration by
overwriting is performed, data saved in FOMA
terminal is overwritten.

For LCS data, data of same phone number is
not restored. If the number of items to
restore exceeds 5 while data being restored,
the excessive part is not restored.

Icons used for the backup data are defined
as follows:
