Setting Music
Music (Chaku-uta full
®
) can be set as a ring alert in two ways: "Full song ring tone" for setting whole music
and "Point ring tone" for setting a section previously selected.
I
Only music with detail information ( → P370) of Full song ring tone or Point ring tone set to "Available"
can be set as a ring tone. For some Music, Setting is may not be set for Ring alert.

Music saved in microSD memory card can be set as a ring alert after it is moved to FOMA terminal.

The volume of the ring tone is the same as that of Music player. Adjustment of the volume is
reflected to Music player settings.

When another item (other than "OFF") is selected with "Kisekae Tool" already set, a confirmation screen appears
asking whether to cancel Kisekae Tool. When you select "Yes", selection of "Kisekae Tool" is disabled.

Movie/i-motion containing only images cannot be set as a ring alert.
･
In the following cases, the image for incoming call is used as the default image in the settings of Call ring alert
and V.phone ring alert. Note, however, that the image can be changed in Call alert (Incoming call) or Videophone
alert (Videophone receiving).
- When the ring alert is changed from a movie/i-motion containing images to music or movie/i-motion containing only sound
(i-motion without image such as the one containing only voice of a singer) or melody
- When a movie/i-motion containing only images or a Flash graphic is set as the incoming image and a movie/i-motion containing
only sound (i-motion without image such as the one containing only voice of a singer) is set as the ring alert

Movie/i-motion and music for which Ring alert is set to "Unavailable" or "No" in the Detail information ( → P343,
P370) cannot be set to the ring alert.

If movie/i-motion containing only sound (i-motion without image such as the one containing only voice of a
singer) is set for the ring alert and animation (except the standard image) is set for the incoming image, the
animation will not be activated and the first image of the animation appears on the incoming call screen.
Ring alert priority
Ring alerts set in multiple functions sound in the following priorities:
a
Incoming calls melody setting of Multi number
b
Alert by contact of the FOMA terminal phonebook
c
Alert/image by group of the FOMA terminal phonebook
d
Call ring alert/Mail/Msg ring alert/Call alert/Videophone alert/Mail alert/Chat mail alert

When the other party does not notify the caller ID, the ring alert for voice call depends on Anonymous
caller and the ring alert for videophone call depends on V.phone ring alert/Videophone alert.

When the sound or image data used in Anonymous caller is deleted, the settings are automatically
modified. In this case, the sound actually heard or the image actually displayed may differ from the
settings.

When movie/i-motion containing sound and image has been set in "Movie ringtone" for the ring alert and
ring alert is not set in the phonebook data, the ring alert and incoming image set for "Movie ringtone"
have precedence even if images are set in the phonebook.

If music or movie/i-motion containing only sound (i-motion without image such as the one containing
only voice of a singer) is set for the ring alert and an image is set in the phonebook data, the music or
movie/i-motion containing only sound is played for the ring alert and the image set in the phonebook is
displayed as the incoming image.
