Select "Yes"
The shot still image is saved in FOMA terminal
and the mail creation screen appears.
Depending on the shot still image or file size, a
confirmation screen appears asking about
conversion to the stand-by display size or
saving to Data Box.

Depending on Image size and Size
restrictions, a confirmation screen appears
asking whether or not to adjust the shot still
image file size. Selecting "No limit" causes
the image to be saved without size
adjustment. Selecting "Msg attach:Small"
causes the image to be reduced to less than
90 bytes in size and saved in FOMA terminal.

Even when microSD memory card is set as
memory to save to, the shot still image to
attach to mail is saved in FOMA terminal.

When the shot or saved still image file is less
than 90 Kbytes in size, a confirmation screen
appears asking whether or not to paste it to
the message. Selecting "Yes" allows pasting
the image to the message text.

When the mail address of the distant party is
saved in Phonebook, it is automatically
entered as the destination.

When returning to the shooting screen
without creating i-mode mail, press
c
.
To stop shooting, press
c
on the
shooting screen.

Bar code reader
Using Bar code reader
Data such as text and number contained in JAN,
QR, NW7 or CODE39 code can be read using the
camera. The scanned data can be added to
Phonebook or Bookmark or used for Phone To (AV
Phone To), Mail To and Web To functions.

You can store up to 5 scanned data items.

Bar code reader can be used only with the out-
camera.

QR code may not be scanned depending on the
version (type and size).

NW7 and CODE39 codes have a large width and
may be unfocused and fail in recognition when
you try to display the entire code on the screen.
Such code will be easily recognized when FOMA
terminal is brought close to the center of the
code until it is focused.

Scratches, dirt, damages, low print quality and
the strong reflection of light may disable code
reading.

You can activate Bar code reader from the
character entry screen and enter the scanned
data directly.

JAN code is a bar code representing a number with
vertical lines (bars) of different widths. The bar
code of 8 digits (JAN8) or 13 digits (JAN13) can be
read.
JAN code shown above represents the numeral
data "4942857315721".
QR code
QR code is the 2-dimensional codes representing a
string of alphanumeric, kanji, hiragana, katakana,
pictograms or data such as melody and image with
the vertical and horizontal patterns.
QR code shown above represents the text data "

NW7 code
NW7 code is a bar code representing alphanumeric
characters with vertical lines (bars) of different
widths. Bar code with a maximum of 20 characters,
a 2-character start symbol and a 2-character end
symbol can be read.
NW7 code shown above represents numeral data
"A123456789012A".
