Data Operation
INFORMATION

FOMA terminal cannot save data of ToDo (List
function for managing entries). When all items of
ToDo and schedule data have been received, only the
schedule data is saved. Note that, when all items of
only ToDo data have been received with "Overwrite"
set, all schedule items registered in FOMA terminal
will be deleted.

Receiving time differs depending on the type or number
of received data items. If you receive large size data or
a lot of data items, receiving may take a long time.
Saving received data
You can save received data stored temporarily in
INBOX to FOMA terminal.

For infrared communication, if "Confirm & save"
is selected when receiving a data item or
"Confirm & save" is selected when receiving all
the data items, the INBOX screen is displayed
automatically after receiving is finished.

For iC transmission, the INBOX screen is displayed
automatically after receiving is finished.

Depending on the size of data saved, the maximum
number of items that can be received and registered
may be fewer than the limit in the FOMA terminal.

Message data received from equipment that is able to
save messages by folder may be saved in the folder
for Message i-

ppli. Place the cursor on the folder for

function
FOMA terminal can be used as an infrared remote
controller by downloading i-

Remote Controller) is activated, the FOMA
terminal can be used as infrared remote control
for TV.

Communication may be influenced depending
on the model of the supported device used and
ambient luminance.

Even devices compatible with infrared remote
control may not be operated.
Remote control
Perform remote control operation with the infrared
data port of FOMA terminal pointed at the infrared
receiver of the supported device. Angle for remote
control is 15 degrees from the center and distance
is up to approximately 4m. However, the allowable
range and distance depend on the operated device
or ambient luminance.
