Other Convenient Functions
Executing new function
During talking or communications, another
function can be executed.

You can talk while displaying the schedule
screen. Using the speakerphone function
allows you to view the screen while talking.

To end the schedule or call, press

the schedule or talking screen, respectively.

If many functions are executed at a time (e.g. a
message automatically received during playing
movie/animation, camera operation or playing
sounds by Music player), the movements displayed
on the screen may not appear smoothly or the sound
may be distorted during play.
Switching tasks to operate
Pressing

while executing multiple functions
displays the Switch Task menu, so you can operate
switching the screens.
<Example> Switching from the voice call screen to
the site screen

again, select "Phone" from the Switch Task

You can start a new function by pressing

on the Switch Task menu to display the New

Exiting all running functions
All functions activated in Multitask can be exited at
a time.

The power of the FOMA terminal can be
automatically turned ON/OFF at the specified
time.

Auto power ON:
Sets/cancels Auto power ON.
Time:
Sets the time to turn the power ON
automatically.
Repeat:
Sets repetitive operation of Auto power ON.
INFORMATION

Even when Auto power OFF is set to "ON", when the
specified time arrives while FOMA terminal is in any
mode except stand-by, the power is not turned OFF.
The power is turned OFF after exiting each function.
However, if the specified time arrives while the
authentication screen following the stand-by display
or the PIN/PIN2 code entry screen displayed when
FOMA terminal is turned ON is displayed, the power
is turned OFF.

In addition to turning the FOMA terminal OFF, set
Auto power ON to "OFF" in areas where use of a
mobile phone is prohibited, such as in airplanes,
medical facilities or hospitals.
