When Font type is set to "Japanese" in SMS
settings, up to 70 one-byte and/or two-byte
characters can be entered. When "English"
is set, up to 160 characters including one-
byte alphanumerics and symbols (except for

sent is reduced. Moreover, symbol (

When transmission fails, an error message is
displayed and the SMS is saved in "Unsent
messages" folder of Unsent messages. SMS can be
edited/sent from "Unsent messages" folder in Unsent

When transmission is completed correctly, the SMS
is saved in a folder of Outbox. When the memory is
not enough or the maximum number of saved items
is reached, the oldest sent message is deleted
chronologically. Be sure to protect sent message you
want to keep.

If you set SMS report request to "Request" and send
SMS, you will receive SMS report request that
notifies you that the other FOMA terminal received
the SMS. SMS report request is saved in Inbox folder.

Even if "Not notify" is set for Activate/Deactivate,
caller ID is sent to the address when SMS is sent.

When the memory is not enough or the maximum
number of saved items is reached, SMS cannot be
created. Delete unnecessary i-mode mail and/or SMS
from the folder in Unsent messages.
Editing/Sending sent or saved SMS

Sent SMS and SMS that are saved and unsent or
failed to be sent can be edited or sent.
