Note: Melody name that cannot be displayed completely will be
omitted.
Attachment (Sending)
Attaching files
You can send i-mode mail with images attached.

A maximum of 10 files of up to 2 Mbytes in total
can be attached. The number of items that can be
attached, however, may be reduced depending
on the size of the file. When the receiver's
terminal is incompatible with i-mode mail,
attached files are deleted.

Sending an attachment file of a certain size may
take time.
I
Files prohibited from attaching to mail and
outputting from FOMA terminal (excluding
images, melodies or PDF data not obtained from
i-mode with "File restricted" set for File
restriction with your terminal) or files whose
function of UIM operation restriction is changed
cannot be attached.

Attachable file types are as shown below:
*1: On some receiver's terminals, images may not be correctly
received or displayed or they may not be clearly displayed.
To an i-mode terminal with mova service, only one JPEG
image can be sent. A URL for image viewing is given to
the receiver's terminal; images can be acquired by
selecting it.
*2: Movies/i-motion with images may not be smoothly
played or may be converted to and displayed as
continuous still images on some receiver's terminals or
devices. Recommended size to be sent to an i-mode
terminal compatible with 2 Mbytes i-mode mail is as
follows: Size restrictions; Msg attach: Small, Image size:
QCIF (176 x 144), Quality: HQ (High quality).
When a receiver's terminal is an i-mode terminal other
than 903i series, movies/i-motion are saved in i-motion
mail Center and the terminal receives i-mode mail
containing URL for i-motion viewing. Movies/i-motion
can be downloaded up to 50 times for each of viewing
URLs saved in i-motion mail Center. Movies/i-motion
saved in i-motion mail Center can be downloaded up to
50 times for each viewing URL.
Sound recorded with the sound recorder or Record voice
is attached as movie/i-motion containing only sound.
mova service i-mode terminal cannot receive movies/
i-motion.
*3: Files may not be able to attach to the mail even when
replay restriction is not set.
*4: Received melody may not be correctly played if the
receiver is PC or terminal other than FOMA F903i or
F882iES.
*5: You cannot receive ToruCa (Details) with ToruCa
compatible models other than 903i series. Note that
reception may be enabled for some models.
