Secret attribute

Making phonebook entries secret

Phonebook data in the FOMA terminal phonebook entry can be saved as the data having a
secret attribute that is used only when you perform authentication operations. To set a
secret attribute, perform the setting in Secret mode ON.

I

These functions cannot be set for the phonebook entry in UIM phonebook.

If you add/edit phonebook entry in Secret mode ON, a secret attribute is set to the phonebook entry.

･

A phonebook entry with secret attribute set can be edited only in Secret mode ON.

･

A name and saved image or movie/i-motion in a phonebook entry with secret attribute are displayed on the

incoming call screen, redial, received calls, recorded message, voice memo while talking, the mail reception result

screen, received message list only in Secret mode ON. The same applies to the ring tone, vibrator and other

functions set in the phonebook entry.

Searching phonebook data with the secret attribute set <Secrecy search>

Follow the steps below to search only for the phonebook entries with secret attributes.

dial, Quick mail or Search message.

When search other than Secrecy search is performed in Secret mode ON, the phonebook entry with and without

secret attribute set are both searched.
