Editing movie/i-motion
Movie/i-motion saved in i-motion can be edited by
cutting out a still image or any range.

The following movies/i-motion can be edited:
- Movies shot with your FOMA terminal
- Movies/i-motion with no file restrictions other than
movies recorded with your FOMA terminal

i-motion with replay restrictions and movie/
i-motion stored by default cannot be edited. Note
that there are other movies/i-motion that cannot
be edited due to the file format, etc. (i.e. movies
in ASF format)

Cutting out still image (Capture)
You can specify any position while playing movies/
i-motion and cut it out (Capture) as a still image.

The size of the still image cut out is same as the
play size of the movie/i-motion.

Ticker is not displayed in captured still image.

The capture still image is saved in "Camera"
folder of My Picture and the mail creation
screen with captured still image attached is
displayed.

When the captured still image size is 90
Kbytes or less, the confirmation screen
appears asking whether to paste it to the
message. Selecting "Yes" allows pasting
the image to the message text.
Cutting out movie/i-motion
You can cut out a part of movie/i-motion from the
beginning to the desired position.

the cursor on the movie/i-motion to cut
out and

Custom edit mode is activated and is
displayed below the play duration.

When a ticker is inserted in the movie/
i-motion to cut out, a screen indicating that
tickers may be deleted is displayed. Select
"Yes" to activate Custom edit mode. Ticker
may be deleted depending on the cut
position.

When movie/i-motion is cut out up to the
end without pressing

, cut out stops
automatically and the end point is set at the
position approximately 1,000 bytes smaller
than the maximum file size.

To capture again,

2 and 3.
