When Set i-

ppli display is set to "Yes", a
confirmation screen is displayed asking whether to
set as the stand-by display. When "Yes" is selected,
the i-
α
ppli is set as stand-by display. i-Channel ticker
is canceled when Show ticker of Ticker setting is set
to "Yes". When the i-
α
ppli has already been set as the
stand-by display, the confirmation screen is not
displayed.

If you set "No" for Set NW transmission, the i-
α
ppli
may not be started and timely information such as
stock prices or weather forecast may not be provided
by i-
α
ppli.

If you set "Yes" for Use icons, whether there are icons
for unread messages, unread MessageR/F, remaining
battery level, Silent mode, and Within service area/
Out of service area may be sent to IPs (Information
Providers) through the Internet, which may give the
information to a third party. Some i-
α
ppli requiring
icons may not operate when "No" is set.
